Merchant Reporting
Reporting for an AMEX Direct merchant within Stax Pay is similar. However, deposit reports, fees, and disputes will appear differently, as they will be handled directly through AMEX and can be accessed through the merchant's AMEX portal.

Merchant Onboarding
When a merchant is onboarding, they will be prompted for an AMEX Direct SE number, which AMEX provides. There is also a checkbox that asks if they accept over a million dollars in AMEX. If selected, Stax will reach out to the merchant when they are processing over a million dollars and are eligible to become an AMEX Direct merchant.

AMEX Direct Merchant Enrollment
Once enrolled, the Merchant business account info page will indicate that they are a AMEX direct merchant. Transactions such as deposits, disputes, and fees will not be visible in Stax Pay or Stax Connect. The merchant will need to view these in the AMEX Merchant Portal.

Merchant Reports
Reports in the Connect platform will contain a message that AMEX reports are available only on the AMEX Merchant Portal.
