Connecting a Pin Pad

Follow this quick setup guide for your new Dejavoo PIN Pad.

What's in the Box

Your package includes:

• PIN Pad
• USB Connector Cord

Setup Instructions

1. Connect the PIN Pad

Important: Unplug the power from your Dejavoo Terminal before connecting the PIN pad.

• Connect the straight USB end to the PIN pad
• Connect the "L" shaped end to USB port 1 on the terminal (upside down, cord over the top)
• Plug the power back into the terminal

2. Initialize the System

1. Terminal displays: "Press OK when PIN Pad displays Welcome"
2. Wait for PIN pad to show "Welcome"
3. Press OK on the terminal
4. PIN pad uploads parameters automatically
5. Setup is complete when both devices show ready screens

3. First Transaction

1. Enter amount on the terminal's Credit Sale screen
2. Terminal shows "waiting on PIN Pad"
3. PIN pad displays "Tap, Insert, Swipe, and Enter Amount"
4. Process the card transaction
5. Receipt prints when successful

Your PIN pad is now ready for transactions!
