When Will I Get My Deposit?

Use your payment type, batch time, and Deposit Report to estimate when funds will arrive in your bank account.

When your money arrives

What can affect when you're paid

• The time of day you take the payment. Stax uses 8:00 p.m. ET as the default daily batch time. Payments taken after the batch time are deposited with the next day's batch.
• An adjusted batch time. If your batch time was changed upon request, that change may affect when funding arrives.
• Your funding timeline and bank. Card deposits typically post between 2–5 p.m. ET on the funding day, but the exact timing depends on your bank and account funding timeline.
• Weekends and holidays. Deposits skip non-banking days and resume the next business day.
• Your first deposit. Your very first payout may take a little longer while your bank details are confirmed.
• A hold on your account. Funds are occasionally held for review. See Held Deposits.
• A recent bank account change. Updating your deposit account can pause funding until the new account is verified. See Changing Your Bank Information.

Find your deposits in Stax Pay

Your Deposit Report shows each deposit, the payments included in it, and the fees taken out.

1. Go to Reports → Deposit Report.
2. Select a deposit to see the individual payments that make it up.
3. Compare the payment amounts to the deposited amount to see your fees.

Why is my deposit less than my sales total?

Processing fees are taken out before your money is deposited, so your deposit is the net amount. To see the fees for a deposit, open it in the Deposit Report, or review your Fee Statement. For more on how fees are netted out, see Net Funding.

Bank (ACH) payments take a little longer

Payments made from a bank account travel through the ACH network, which takes longer than card payments — usually about 5 business days, and occasionally longer. Because of this, we ask you to wait before refunding an ACH payment; see ACH Processing for details.

Haven't received a deposit you expected?

1. Check the Deposit Report — the payment may still be processing.
2. Remember deposits only arrive on business days, and card payments taken after the 8:00 p.m. ET default batch time move to the next day's batch.
3. If you're checking a card deposit, allow until 2–5 p.m. ET on the funding day. The exact posting time depends on your bank and funding timeline.
4. If it was a bank (ACH) payment, allow about 5 business days.
5. Check whether there's a hold on your account, an adjusted batch time, or a recent bank change.
6. Still don't see it? Contact Stax Support with the payment details and the date you expected the deposit.

FAQ

Does an approved payment mean I've been paid?
Not yet. An approved payment still has to settle and be deposited on the schedule above.
