PCI Compliance Reporting
PCI Apply includes many reports that help you monitor your merchant portfolio. You can also create
custom reports to address specific needs.
To generate a report:
- On the menu, click Reports, then click the name of the desired report.
- Click Apply.
- Enter any filtering criteria, if appropriate.
- Click Apply.
Creating Custom Reports
You can create custom reports to address specific needs. If the report addresses an ongoing need, you can save it to regenerate later.
You can filter a custom report on most data elements available in PCI Apply. You can also include any data element as columns in your report. After you create and save a report, you can:
- Edit the filtering criteria or columns.
- Duplicate the report. Then you can edit the duplicate report to quickly make a new report similar to
but slightly different from the original. - Share the report with another user. The report is available only to you unless you share it with
another user. - Delete a report that is no longer needed.
To create a custom report:
- On the menu, click Reports >Custom Reports.
- Click Create New Report.
- In the Create New Report window, build your report query.
- Select a Filter By criterion. Possible values depend on the filtered object and the criterion type
(Hierarchy Filter or Report Filter). - Select an Operator for the criterion.
- Enter a value or values for the criterion.
- Click Add Hierarchy Filter or Add Report Filter to add a corresponding criterion to the
filter. - Select And or Or to determine how the filter criteria will behave.
- Repeat to add filtering criteria as needed.
- Select a Filter By criterion. Possible values depend on the filtered object and the criterion type
- Choose your columns.
- In the Default Columns section, type a column name in Search Items.
- Click the checkbox for the desired column. It then appears in the Selected Column section.
- Repeat to select all the needed columns.
- If needed, change the order of the selected columns by dragging and dropping the column you
want to move.
- Determine the report data sort order.
- Click Sort By to select the desired option, then click Ascending or Descending.
- Click Add Additional Sort Filter if needed.
- Click Generate Report.
- Review the report results. If needed, edit the report definition and regenerate.
- If desired, click Save this Report.
- In the Save This Report window, type a report name.
- Click Set as Favourite to mark the report as a favourite.
- Click Save.
On the Custom Report page, you can view your custom reports and edit, duplicate, share, and delete them.
